Surprisingly, 100 years IS old for Yiddish music. The heyday of Yiddish music was the early 20th century, and most of the popular music comes from known composers. There isn't a whole lot of Yiddish music that comes from the 19th century or earlier, and very few Yiddish songs can truly be considered "traditional."
