It's supposedly cooler today, but the weather in the house is oppressive. Weather oppressive outside, too, waiting for the rain. It's sprinkled, but that's about it so far.

Morning started out great -- power went out suddenly just before 9 a.m. and when I initially called, they first tried to tell me I HAD power, then abruptly switched to the recording that said they hadn't found the source of the outage yet. We were powerless for about an hour and a half.

When I left the house (after finding a couple good-sized branches down in the turnaround), I noticed a smallish tree down further up the road. Since it was only 22 subscribers out, I figured it was just our road and maybe that tree was the cause. I'm at a loss about the branches in the yard -- we never had last night's predicted thunderstorms. The lightning was some distance away and the "storms" were a sprinkle that barely wet the deck. No wind, either.

Got the de-accessioned stuff to Goodwill and picked up Tom's Rx. The "Check Engine" light came on yesterday, so had the car scanned today -- according to the codes, it's the same sensor that was replaced last week. Car goes into the shop on Friday morning.

Linn
