The trouble is that in a dry climate at what is typically a dry time of year this much sustained wet makes things misbehave. Plants rot. Things tip over in the garden. And the clay slurry I sprayed on my garden to keep the grasshoppers off has washed off but the grasshoppers are still there - now happily munching my garden. I just now pointed a camera at a munched up eggplant - it's dark so it was a random shot to see what the flash would pick up. And it caught a grasshopper munching in one corner of the photo. I need it to dry out so I can spray on the clay paint again.
