Same over much of the US, Nigel. AC costs money to buy and to run- money many of us do not have. Our little machine is the result of a barter with a neighbor. We don't run it in the morning or at night, just when we take refuge from planting and tilling outside as we eat lunch.

Thoughts and blessings raining down to cool those who suffer from the heat, to comfort those in physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual pain, laughter to those who are sad, and companionship to those who are lonely.
