Wow! I guess it's been a while. I'm sorry. I'll try to do better.

A lot has happened. I lost my job, the water heater died, etc,

But fun things have happened too. I got a new job (teaching reading to 7th graders at Inarajan Middle School) and I met Micky in the Island Fresh (grocery store) parking lot.

Micky has been a lurker at the Mudcat apparently for years. Wakana and I were loading groceries into the back of her car and the guy loading the car next to us looked at her and asked if she was Wakana. He then asked if we were Brett and Wakana. Our brains went into overdrive trying to figure out where we'd met him but it turned out we hadn't. He has been reading this thread and following our adventures.

We talked with him for quite a while and he said we should get together. We'll take him up on that one of these days though the part of the conversation where we talk about our lives will not work. He already knows it from what I've weritten here.
