""But if you're going to protest, you'd better know what came out in court, in the presence of a vigorous and dedicated prosecution, rather than falling for the hyped-up media version with its predictable and pre-selected victim and villain.""

The major problem is that your cleverly constructed apologia for Zimmerman's actions, fails to take into account the evidence which was deliberately kept from the jury, such as the fact:

1. That it was Zimmerman who had the martial arts experience.
2. That Zimmerman outweighed Martin by three and a stone.
3. That at 29, Zimmerman was nothing like the weak older man posited by the defence.
4. That Zimmerman had a history of violence which included stalking an ex girlfriend and assaulting her when confronted.
5. That Zimmerman had previously assaulted a police officer, while resistin arrest.
5. That two qualified voice recognition experts who gave the opinion that the voice crying help was more likely to be Trayvon Martin, were not allowed to testify.
6. That eight of Zimmerman's friends WERE allowed to testify that it was his voice.

This whole trial was conducted in a manner completely unsatisfactory, except of course to those determined to acquit.
