Max, so many of us appreciate and value what you have made possible for us with Mudcat. But don't mistake us saying that as meaning you and your well-being matter because you are the creator of the opportunity for this community to exist.

It is true we wouldn't know you or one another for the most part without you birthing and raising Mudcat. But the good thoughts, prayers, and intentions surrounding you now are not offered because we "owe" you. They are offered because we care about you. It simply happens that we know you because of this community.

Caring is not earned. It just is.
