What Jeri said. I lurk more than I post, usually because things just devolve into nastiness, both above and below the line. Some very talented under 20 year-olds attempted to join the "community" and were met with ridicule and snark. One of them told me it was like high school all over again, and I had to agree with her. I tried to get some help with a project that I'm doing to expose more young people to folk, and ended up turning to Facebook for help, because I wasn't getting much help here, mostly insults and rudeness. I miss the old Mudcat, sure, we had The Shambles and Martin Gibson, but they seemed to be the minority and not the majority.
