Hey, I'm a country boy... Guns are for protection and to put badly hurt and dieing animals out of their misery... I felt terrible about shooting the turtle... Still do... But it was either the turtle or one of my 3 cats... I picked the turtle... This, BTW, wasn't a water turtle or a box turtle... This was a hug snapping turtle...

And, no, I couldn't have gotten the cats inside as two of them aren't inside cats and wouldn't come inside if I tried to get them inside...

It was a judgement call... I think I made the right call but still feel bad... See, that's how responsible adult process information, GfinS... They don't go "Whoopie" when a murderer beat the rap...
