9-10 years now- works like a charm, never jams. Ink cartridges are a 'bit' more expensive, but we don't print huge amounts of stuff.

Was looking a new one awhile back, and told salesman what we had. He said, "Oh, that was a good one! The new ones are lighter and not nearly so well built. Keep it till it dies."
