I disagree, Ake...

Obama is an outsider... He didn't party when he was Senator... Might of fact, he lived in his office... He slept in his office... He read bills... He had long discussions laying on his couch and allowed everyone in the room to pontificate on their positions... He listened... This is the real Obama...

That's part of his problem... He doesn't play the "inside the beltway" game... He doesn't much play any games... What you see is what you get... That's what I like about him...

In spite of that, he understands that his powers are limited... He has rocked the boat about as much as any president could do... Do you remember when he went to the Republican caucus and spent an entire day allowing them to blast away at him with their best and he stood there before them for hours and hours, took their best, and had the intelligence and vision to hang with them and more... That's balls, dude...

No Republican would have ever even thought of doing that...

Yeah, with BIG MEDIA being owned by the Republicans all we are getting is their story, their spin, their propaganda... We aren't getting much in the way of defense of what Obama has done under the most hostile opposition party since 1860 when Abraham Lincoln had to take on the Southern Democrats...
