It was great to return to some structure today. I did 90% of dinner prep, took a shower, and headed into town for band practice. I found that I do actually have a returning voice -- the high range coming back. Then Faulkner went on his first ministry visit to shut-ins who'd had to give up their dogs. He was a surprise and was a BIG hit as he showed off his superb manners and calm spirit. Before leaving I checked out the couple's ability to handle him on their own for a weekly short visit. He needs a job and he's too great of a dog not to share him! Parking and getting into the facility gave me a good walk and him a first-time experience of sharing a sidewalk-- his first time walking around in town. Me too!
