Back in the 70s when it seemed I went weeks living in the black community I learned a book's full of knowledge about the black culture... One thing I learned is that there was city black folks and then there was rural black folks...

Trayvon's parents represent rural black folks...

Now lotta white folk going, "Well, is that so bad? I mean, these people seem very reasonable"...

(And they are)

What white folk don't get is that Trayvon's parents were playing the game they know... The rural black folk composure... Ya' see, it wasn't always like that... There were times when Trayvon would have been lynched... That's reality...

Some things need to be kept in perspective...
