Halliday, Stuart E. Age 70, thirty year resident of Evanston, passed away on August 16, 2013. Born in Chicago on June 7, 1943, he graduated from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California. He worked for many years at Northwestern University as a staff assistant. A talented folk and blues musician, Stuart performed on guitar and banjo at the No Exit Cafe when it was located in Evanston, and will be missed by the folk music community. Stuart was a well-educated man of many interests; there was never a dull moment when in his company. He will be forever loved and cherished by his son, Ian and grandson, Liam of Norridge, Illinois, and his sisters, Nancy Halliday of Glenview, Illinois, Sue Brooks of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, and Ann Ellis of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
