civil rights and music shaped my thinking between 12 and 17 it became a life long mission. Dad, a Jewish immigrant with family lost in the holocaust, and my mother an artist who viewed people of different heritage as treasures made civil rights a priority, At 12 I went on the bus to hear Martin Luther King in DC.
Touring the US and Canada in Orchestra tours cemented music as a life mission for peace.
Because of my civil rights stance I got the job that changed my adult life.
My adult mission began around 24 and persists until today.
Time does not allow to explain now but I think knowing other people's life mission could make for many friendships and songs.
