Thread Name: Hull Folk Archive
Subject: RE: Hull Folk Archive
I'm sure that would be fine, thanks, Malcolm. Again I'll bring this up with Paul on Tuesday. Meanwhile, if you can be gathering together all you have that you think would be useful and can bring in one go that would be great.

Thanks for the offer, Les. We will definitely take you up on this at some point when we are more organised and have a better idea of quantity.

Also a reminder that contact details for people who are likely to be off my radar would be very useful. You can email or pm these to me. I have lots of old telephone numbers but not that many email addresses. I will put out a round robin email when I have had Tuesday's meeting.

The thread on Barry Nettleton was useful, particularly Rick Welton's posting. Is there a thread on John Sheridan or Mike Chapman?

Here are a few names from the past that I have lost touch with: Some may no longer be with us.
Pete Ogilvy
Bernie Vickers
Dougie and Chip
Karris Sheppard
John Ross (=Peter .......)
Alan Bleasdale (=Laurie Russell)
Group: Oscar the Frog
Sue and Gordon Madden
Gill Soar
and countless others.

One very useful document would be a handwritten or typed account of anyone's personal involvement in the Hull folk scene over the years, with emphasis on what event(s), who, where, when.
