"Holding the light" is called lamping over here, gnu. Great for rabbitting - wait for 10-15 minutes till they come out again and then switch on the gun lamp. There's always one that freezes and ands up in the bag. My lamp's a Tracer Stinger which weighs bugger all and has a 75 yard beam, even with a red filter.
