Thank you very much for the nice compliments. I should say that Rena and Irwin are based on my paternal grandparents. He died from cancer (smoking) in 2003. That first Thanksgiving everyone was there at her house. The next, the only ones that showed were me and my parents. She was very lonely...and sad, and obviously missing him, so i wrote this. I have never showed it to her. Maybe I will this year.
