By "printing directly to discs", I assume that you are talking about one that prints on CDs? Sorry, but I can't help directly.

I have a Canon Pixma MP620 multifunction that prints ok on paper stick-on CD labels, but beware using those on a player with a slot (like a car player). If model experience transfers, I'd have no problem recommending Canon (this is my third).

My PC has a program called Light Scribe that writes directly on discs (special ones are needed), but it's pretty slow. Good luck.
