Arkie, I fear that if you spend $450 on a printer just so it can do CD's, that you will get one that is miserably complicated.

I just replaced my faithful HP with a Canon ($69), and the Canon is already too complicated. Not that it does anything special - they just made it more complicated to do the simplest job. If they have the wiles and resources to make the instructions for a $69 printer that complicated, what will they do for $450?

(I wanted to stick with HP, but the store was out of them, and I needed to print stuff. So I bought the Canon. Of course, by this time HP may have got in line with industry trends and made its directions hard too.)
