I bought the Epson PX730WD
Prints perfectly on DVD/CD and their DVD/CD printing app is more than sufficient for fancy text, arcing and outline etc, especially if you use Photoshop to do any really clever stuff. In which case prepare images on a square aspect ratio because that will show you what it will look like (given that it ends-up in a circle you do need to imagine the missing bits, but there are no other surprises).

The only proviso is that I wished I had bought it through the Constant Ink System people (search for that or CIS on Ebay). The ink is cheap and top-ups are yearly ish. You can retro-fit, but I haven't - yet. I use Jetech cartridges, having tried cheaper ones it scared me when the jets blocked.

I bought TDK full face CD's and found them excelent but colour rendering on different brands can be a disappointment. Needs thinking about if you haven't had that experience.
