I am sure your elf is both subtle and clever, but I worry that yesterday's gale may have been a challenge. I do hope he/she wasn't sheltering in the grape arbor when the wind lifted it and redeposited it a foot away?

As for behavior, I defy anyone to behave poorly when sharing home, land, and life with such a treasure of a husband as I married. Kindly tell your elf that a warm welcome awaits within our house. No need to shiver outside in hopes of porridge- come along inside and have a bowlful beside the woodstove while I spin this year's fleeces.
