You mean, Songwronger, that quitting smoking will turn you into a Nazi?

I smoked like a chimney for about thirty years (really bright for a singer--like a clarinetist blowing hot smoke through his instrument twenty or thirty times a day), then, after two bouts of laryngitis and on the advice of my ear-nose-and throat doctor, I quit.

I haven't smoked in thirty-six years.

Can't say that I have any overwhelming urge to goosestep. . . .
