I can thoroughly recommend the Oscar Wilde mild from the Mighty Oak Brewing Company of Maldon, Essex.
As for a place to drink it: The White Hart, Swan Ln, Margaretting Tye, Ingatestone, Essex CM4 9JX.
And the best time to drink it is on the second Thursday of the month when a splendid session is hosted by the fine Crane duet concertina player Paul McCann (starts around 8.30pm but you can come earlier and eat a good meal at the pub).
A lot of folk clubs go into recess for summer but my club HaverFolk keeps going (with a break for the Whitby Festival week. We are based at the White Horse pub near Romford (see website for details).
Hope to see you and Mrs Bugsy at the White Hart or Horse.
