Hello! My cousin and I sat on christmas day talking old memories and our hitch-hiking in Cornwall 1970 came up. Remembered an extra ordinary ride with three guys in an old Mini Cooper(??); Bill, Don and Steve. They sang all the way and told jokes. They were so funny and enjoyable, we just loved to meet and be with them. They left us in Penzance at a youth hostel but came soon back and we spent a day with them. Went to Land´s End, had lunch at a pub and in the evening we went to a folk singing club. Didn´t know that Don Shepherd´s was the leading number that evening. It was also the first time we came across Leonard Cohen´s music when Don sang "Hey is that the way to say goodbye" Thank you for a beautiful memory.
