Not so, Eliza. Popular myth. But the school is a private building and has the power to prevent any photography on it's premises. It can also suggest that parents give their permission for photographs and no set of parents has the power of veto, if the majority give their permission, unless there are exceptional circumstances. It is the 'against data protection' or suggesting that innocent activities are illegal brigade that make it so difficult to enforce sensible measures against illegal activities.
