O.K, if we are going to offend each other by talking about politics on this list, let me say that the election was settled in accordance with the LAW. I know this can be an impediment to a liberal, but it helps prevent fraud and chaos. Face it, Gore lost because he didn't get enough votes (even after cherry-picked hand recounts) to EVER take the lead. The democrats are infamous for votinf fraud, and there was plenty of evidence during this election. Students voting multiple times, homeless shelters raided with gifts of free cigarettes, more votes in certain precincts thatn there were registered voters. Voters finding, upon showing up at the polls, that someone had already voted for them by absentee ballot. Dead people, insane people, felons, children - all voting democrat. Gore's people in Florida blew it! The fix was in, but they underestimated Bush's support.
