Two hundred thirty posts ahead,
A long and tortured way,
OF grumpy farts, and broken hearts,
And clever things to say,
Before the mighty MOAB stream
Achieves her Fifty Kay.

Two hundred thirty different posts!
It seems an awful task,
And we'll run out of answers glib
And questions sly to ask.
And scrape our brains for tattered thoughts
To sledge her on the way
Along the grinding, bumpy road
To reach her Fifty Kay.

But think on this, my MOAB friends,
The celebration roar!
We few--we valiant few--will do
What none have done before.
We'll set a record high as high
No other thread could sway
And glory will rain down on those
Who make the Fifty Kay.

So rub your skulls, and squeeze your brains,
And set your minds to working!
No Facebook 'til your work is done,
No Linked-In circle-jerking.
When duty calls, the dullest lout
Must hasten to the fray!
And duty 'tis that calls you out
To the Fiftieth of Kay!
