Borrowed, good Amos? I cited my source, my friend and fellow Idaho Legionaire Ford Rambler. He is quite learned and is often called upon to "say a few words" at funerals, for toasts, etc. and rarely does he make a mistake and say something like, "Here's to you...you got just what you deserved and we all agree that now the world's a better place for it!" at a funeral instead of a celebration honoring a promotion (as happened just last week). No, Legionaire Rambler's words fall trippingly off his tongue or pen, and are usually appropriate for the occasion.

Granted his vast repetoire of arcanity is less than my own, but I never, when in the military and given the order, "Dress right, DRESS!" reached inside my trousers to adjust my "dress" instead of straightening the line as Private Rambler once did. Nor did I respond to the question of a Drill Instructor, his face only a couple of inches from my own, "DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PUKE? with "Did you know that you have bad breath?"

Ford's verses have not yet been published, but several submissions have been made.
