While anonymous Guest postings are permitted at Mudcat, you will garner much more good will by using a consistent "handle".

If you're interacting with actual human beings, you will find they like to know you by name. You are allowed to do otherwise here at Mudcat if you must, but don't expect people to respect you for posting without a name.
People won't mind if you use a consistent pseudonym if you feel uncomfortable using your own name, but common human courtesy demands that you not play games with your identity.
If you want to be respected here, use a consistent name or pseudonym. Yes, the "rules" allow you to do otherwise, but don't expect people to respect you for playing identity games with them.
