some people have a farcebook account and use it only for access to certain specific things (since redundant). It ain't snobbery it is called "getting a life".

I am amazed by the number of people who reveal their birthdate on the thing, give their phone number so humungous organisations can spam them. Then wonder why they get identity theft.

As for announcing festival dates, I would posit they have been negotiating with more than one option and left it to the last possible moment when all options are dead. Then felt a bit deflated. Part of the reason I don't sit on committees or organise. Except my websites where I have total control. I applaud those that do try to organise things. AND Bridgnorth is the best place to organise it. IMNSHO
