I don't see any attempt to 'justify' racism there, Richard; merely the objective report of a phenomenon. And I appreciate that your point was confirmation of this phenomenon. But I find "race traitor" for one who is behaving predictably in well-recognised circumstances a trifle harsh. I should say that the either-way black-on-black discriminators might perhaps be more deserving of the epithet, insofar as anyone is; but feel it would be more seemly to allow the community involved to deal with the situation among themselves. I can't imagine they would welcome your (arguably patronising) input from without.
