The candle flame bravely dances in the dark,
Staunchly holding at bay our fears
And lighting our hopes through another dark night.
Such a little thing, this candle,
Yet it carries a weight of hope and support that cannot be imagined.
Such a small light
Yet it lifts our spirits and takes our wishes out into the darkness
And links them to other candles,
Bravely burning in the dark across the world
And in our hearts.
