I have noticed this, Ed. Some posters get nasty replies using corruptions of their Mudcat name as an insult. It's horribly like childish bullying in the playground. Their opinions from previous threads are flung in their faces, as if they've already been 'condemned' merely because of who they are. I think 'Be who you are and say what you feel' is a good motto. But one does have to be quite tough to come to Mudcat, and not be over-sensitive, as tempers run high and it doesn't do to get all prickly and cross. There seem to be a lot of old 'issues' going on, maybe over years. And some Mudcatters appear to hate the very 'sight' of eachother. (Figuratively speaking of course, as they've probably never met!)
