Oh dear. I wish I hadn't mentioned a banjo. But I absolutely adore banjo playing. My Irish mum told me her father was quite a good player. But he drank like a fish, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of the notes.
Very good idea, posting in lyrics. But you'd get some Gaelic speakers posting stuff and we (well, I) wouldn't be able to understand.
Did I say I also adore melodeons? They make me think of Morris dancing, which I really love watching.
Using numbered responses reminds me of the Trappist monks joke. They all sit round, each in turn holding up a numbered card, which represents a joke, and all laugh silently. But one monk's number produces no reponse, except from the Abbot, who holds up a card saying 'We've heard that one!'.
