For the record, what goes on in Mudcat is certainly NOT a reflection of the general folk scene in the UK.

The majority of people attending folk clubs have never heard of Mudcat and many of those that have would support the message in the above post from SRS.

Mudcat is frequently useful, often informative, sometimes amusing and too often a home to vindictive mud-slinging and name calling.

But hey, that's the joys of the electronic age.

Hope you get to visit one day and see for yourself.
