I was feeling a lot less stressed, but then my usually very dependable car broke down on my way back to Maine last night. Luckily, it was in the next town over from my mom's brother's family and my youngest cousin came and rescued me, as well as recommending a good mechanic. I was able to drive the car to the garage, but no one's going to be there until Monday. Silver lining: I got to spend some time with my cousin, who has the house to himself while his parents are away on vacation, and we talked until the wee hours of the morning. Conversation continued today, as well as a lesson on how to use some of the mysterious buttons on my camera, and he delivered me and Bandit back to my grandmother's this afternoon. Gramma gets the pleasure of my company for a few more days, and I have plenty of leave time saved up, so I'm still getting paid.
