I forgot to say how much I enjoyed that video, maeve. Also, your crested irises bloomed this year for the first time! Brought a smile to my face and lovely thoughts of you every time I stepped out the back door and gazed at them.

Our marvelous old dog, Amy, is dying. Renal failure. I went over to my ex's tonight to spend a little time with her. I hope to be able to go over when the hospice vet comes to euthanize her, but that may need to happen while I am out of town this weekend. We have never had a dog that we didn't experience as a great dog, and it is always so hard to say goodbye.
