Hmmm. Not sure I quite understand what you're trying to do, Bull. What I did was download Noteworthy Composer (click here). Noteworthy allows me to copy songs from printed texts, and then I can play or print or save the music on my computer. Noteworthy can save files in either Noteworthy or MIDI format, and I can convert those MIDI files with MIDITXT and post them here on the forum - or I can take tunes posted here and turn them into shett music. To get the full advantage of Noteworthy, you have to pay the $40 registration fee, but you can do a lot without paying the fee.
Another way you can go is ABC. Set your filter on the main forum page to ABC and 365 days, and you should find several threads discussing ABC. Click here to get to the most recent thread. You can enter ABC tunes on a word processor, but you have to have an ABC player to play the tunes - I like one called ABCMUS.
I hope that helps, Bull. If you need more, let us know.
