I don't see that I need to defend my choice of daily newspaper, but I never actually read it. I merely try to complete as many of the puzzles as possible on the four puzzle pages. It's my 'Brain Workout'. Then I correct all the spelling and grammar mistakes, which satisfies my pedantic teacher streak. People who are snobby about other folks' newspaper preferences should get a life. My sister's just as bad. She reads the Times from cover to cover, and has recently had two letters published therein. You should hear her on the subject of the Mail. Snobby old thing!
