This week sees a major addition to the PW Joyce Irish Music Microsite from the Irish Traditional Music Archive: a section entitled 'Joyce's Ballad Sheets

Two valuable scrapbooks belonging to Patrick Weston Joyce, into which he pasted some 770 ballad sheets acquired by him over years, probably from street sellers, are held in the Dublin City Public Libraries and Archive, Pearse St, Dublin 2. In a joint cooperative project, the Dublin City Library and Archive has facilitated ITMA staff in making digital copies of the scrapbooks, and have given permission for their facsimile publication on the ITMA PW Joyce microsite.
