We all did what we felt was necessary at the time. I did four years in the navy. At least 50% of the males in college at that time were there avoiding the draft. I was one of them. Friends went and did not return and I mourn them to this day. Sure this is uncomfortable to talk about and remember but maybe someday...
All that we can pray for is that no one's children will ever be faced with these excruciating decisions our generation was forced to make. Thom M.
