It's pow'ful hot down here on the Hades Border, but in the early hours and the later afternoon it is a pleasant benign warmth; it's just from 9:00 to 4:00 that it feels like leftover hellbiscuit. Neither Maggie nor I like this much heat. But we endure, as endure we must. As my favorite son once said, "persistence is how we find out who we are."
