Change your support to Arsenal, of course, Steve -- like all sensible people.

(If you urge that support should be localised -- and I was admittedly born in N London myself -- then I would reply that what I found back in my teaching days convinced me this was no longer the case. My pupils in a Cambridge comprehensive would arbitrarily support whoever, even if it meant they could rarely or never see them play except on the telly. There were v few Camb Utd supporters, tho one was a well-known local United boot·boy - it was at that unfortunate football hooliganism period. Man U or Liverpool [who were then dominant, it may be recalled] were probably most popular. I remember an occasion of a boy telling me he supported Leeds Utd: it appeared on questioning that he had not the remotest idea where Leeds was and thought they were a London team!...)
