I know this will sound odd on accounta I am a modern man and I tolerate most people and many things but Jesus H. Christ I now know why women come to dislike being hit on and call it sexist when it really is just the nature of the beast. One at yer Sobeys and the other at the corner store where I buys me smokes. The one at Sobeys is a 'gusher', all smiles and chatty so it ain't to bad. The smokes lady? She is pushy... what are you doing this weekend and shit??? I am always polite. I smile. I banter slightly, get me smokes and exit. But, it is becoming annoying. The one at the Credit Union has transferred downtown so she's not a bother. Hmmm... did ever tell you about 'the Turkey Girl' at the Credit Onion? She told me that she lived alone and such and she doesn't cook a whole turkey just for her and her Mum so she had a bunch of frozen turkeys passed out to her at work and by charities she volunteers for and "I'll give you a turkey if you cook it and invite me over. I'll bring a couple of bottles of wine." A comely lass of about 40. I'll admit, I did mull it over.

I'd even consider wearing my wedding ring again if I hadn't sold it at the pawn shop.
