Yes, I live up in Carlisle now and have lived up here for twenty-five years!.   We love it up here on the Border. I wrote Manchester Morning and we (The Pennines) put it on or a record of the same name in about 1972/73. It was marketed by Pennyfarthing records, recorded in a cellar in Denmark Street, London and produced by the famous Bill Farley.   It was used by the University of Manchester as part of the sound track of their film promoting the University produced by Ken Wrench who I met while doing a series for BBC TV. We certainly all had a great time in those years at Hyde United. As you may know, earlier this year (2014) Frank Clapton died in Stoke on Trent.   He was a great bass singer and as a presence on stage he was irreplaceable. It was great when the whole team again at our reunion.    Best wishes to all who remember us!
