As I see it, the main problem with capitalism is that it is based on some crazy assumptions, such as:

- The planet and its resources exist only for humans to exploit.

- Resources are infinite and can be exploited indefinitely.

- All other living things are irrelevant and can be exterminated with no consequences.

- You can get a quart of liquid into an empty pint pot.

These grossly stupid assumptions will render our species extinct very soon (on a geological time-scale we are extinct already).
