Hi,
A good example, Sandra:
This is how information ought to go:
Mudcat <-------------> Mudhost <---------------> Ozprovider <---------------> Ozcatter
This is what actually happened:
Mudcat <-------------> Mudhost XXXXX-----------> Ozprovider <---------------> Ozcatter
This is a work-around with a proxy:
Mudcat <-------------> Mudhost <---> proxy <---> Ozprovider <---------------> Ozcatter
Since the proxy pretends the information is coming from the proxy itself, the host and provider next to it would have no idea they were really talking to eachother, hence no blocking would take place.
Bye
