Gee, this thread made me hungry. I went to the fridge for some Trader Joe bacon cheddar, and of course the dogs had to have their share and the cat had to have a treat, too.
I like my grilled cheese sandwiches with a slice of tomato, but lately I can't tolerate all the butter (or whatever) needed for grilling. I use the toaster oven now.
