Thanks, Dorothy. I'm sure it took a while to sort out just what exactly was happening with your hearing after that started.

I'm hearing lots of people working outside, reminding me that I must mow parts of the front lawn that get sprinkler water and are now tall and green. The rest is dry and dormant brown.

I've managed another three-day weekend. There won't be another break till Thanksgiving. The cooler weather of autumn will give me more energy and I'll get more done on my days off (fall and spring are short here, don't blink).

Puttering today, and having lunch with a friend.
